Lab Technician/Manager (2016-2020)

Jamie was the lab technician/manager in Dr. Whitman’s lab and enjoys learning about all things ecology, specifically studying how fire and/or the addition of pyrogenic organic matter affects soil microbial communities. Jamie worked on sample and data processing, developing protocols, field work, assisting lab members, and making sure the lab runs smoothly.

In Jamie’s spare time, she enjoys birding, hiking, backpacking, and running. She is now pursuing an MS at Colorado State University.
