Emily joined the Whitman lab in September of 2024. As lab manager, she oversees daily lab operations. Her primary research focus is exploring the impact of forest wildfire recovery trajectories on soil microbial communities. In her free time, she enjoys writing fiction and spending time with her cats.

She also serves as the lab manager for Dr. Zac Freedman.
